Lake Bruin (near St. Joseph, La. about 105 miles total) (27 miles northeast of Lake St. John off Hwy 65 north) 84 West (1-318-4675032);

Lake Providence (1-318-559-2893 Lakeside Motel) 148 miles from Exit 38 Bhven on 55N then 20W; 50 miles from the Vicksburg bridge over the Mississippi, take Hwy 65N after crossing river - allow 2 1/2 hrs plus launch time.

Lake Louis (is 31 miles from the Vidalia Pizza Hut) or 5 miles due west of Sicily Island.
Go straight thru the big Ferriday light like you are going to Lake Bruin.
Stay straight (do NOT go north to Bruin on 65N).. cross Tensas River bridge instead.
Keep going west like going to Turkey Creek. Instead of taking a right in Sicily Island (like to Turkey Creek) go STRAIGHT on in front of the Tensas Bank (on left).
You will pass a brick school on the left, then on the right past that will be a green WEST 8 SIGN... slow to 35mph now!

You will soon see a GREEN sign on the right that says LOUIE ROCKS, take a sharp LEFT and follow this very CROOKED paved road SLOWLY for about 2.9 miles and you'll find a decent launch ramp in a sharp right turn (left side of road is launch across from SLOW sign).

Standing on the ramp and look left and you are looking North. To the right, South, the lake narrows up into a very long bayou south with some interesting points, flats and a few tree lines.

Lake Bee 16 miles north of Yazoo City on Hwy 49 north...be sure to cross RR track and turn left at green store...allow 2 hours plus launch...phone # of the very dumpy motel at the launch is 662-235-5930.

Turkey Creek is located northwest of Sicily Island so take 84 west but continue straight thru the Ferriday/KFC light ; stay straight ; go over Tensas River bridge at Clayton, now 28.8 miles more to the lake. Go toward (not to) Sicily Island (now 17 miles more to the lake) and bear right (north) to Wisner. Take a left onto hwy 562 at CITGO station on left (zero out your odometer here! 0000)

Now 7.4 miles more to the lake. At 2.5 miles take the right fork onto Hwy 875. At 3.3 miles take the left fork (straight). At 4.3 take a sharp right at STOP sign onto Kerrigan Rd. At 5.4 take a left at the T so you pass in front of a red brick house. At 6.6 take a right at STOP sign and at 7.4 miles road ends at King's Launch ...$2, put into envelope there.   Total--> 43.2 miles from Vidalia Pizza Hut and about 56 minutes.

TEW LAKE directions: launch is 29.6 miles from the Vidalia Pizza Hut located on hwy 84 west
6.3 miles from the Jonesville bridge
5.2 miles from the main light in Jville
START BY GOING ON 84 WEST LIKE TO LARTO LAKE:
In Ferriday, left toward Jonesville; cross Jonesville bridge over the Black River; go to 1st Jville red light (not flashing)
turn north (RIGHT) to Harrisionburg
go about 3 miles and see a FOOD MART on the left (slow down NOW); 1.2 miles to the launch now
go .8 of a mile (just past 3 brick houses in a row on the right)
see a small HOURS OPEN sign, turn RIGHT down that road
go .4 miles, see lake on left and single lane launch

IF COMING FROM VIDALIA Bushley Bayou directions to the landing:

Turn RIGHT at Jonesville light (as if you are going to the 4-Rivers Public Landing).

Instead of turning to the 4-Rivers Landing continue straight toward Harrisonburg. From the right turn (Shell Station) at Jonesville travel 5.5 miles.

Turn LEFT on Hwy 923. Just before the turn you will see Wallace Ridge Pentacostal Church on your right and Wallace Ridge Baptist Church on the left.
At the turn on the left is Cadillac Ranch Hair "Saloon". There is an arrow sign for Circle E Candles.

Travel 1.3 miles on 923 and 40 mph max is advised...half that after a mile!
The short "paved" road to the landing is on the RIGHT (Wright Rd.)...A RIGHT TURN.
(You will pass a Bass mailbox on the LEFT just before you reach Wright Rd turn)

Travel maybe 100 yards on Wright Rd. then turn LEFT on the gravel road BETWEEN the chain link fence on right and board fence on left (bushes growing in front of white board fence).
(There is a small sign on the right with #145 on it)

The single lane landing to the LEFT is maybe 50-60 yards.
Recommend that you launch in enough light to see the first time you go.
